What are the benefits of using a tripod and shooting multi-camera?
The main benefit of using a tripod is adding stability to the majority of your shots. Without it the picture is wobbly and it looks unprofessional. Sometimes to add a wanted effect you can film without a tripod to create shots like a point of view.
Using multiple camera's has many benefits, one is simply having more options for different shots during filming and later during editing. It can also improve the efficiency of filming by being able to film more shots in quicker succession.

Preliminary Task - Filming
The filming for our film started badly. With one of our two main actors pulling out at the very last minute, we therefore had to get a replacement as soon as we possibly could. After finding our replacement and persuading him to be in our film we went to the location to film on schedule.
We then hit another problem as the Medical Room ladies that we were borrowing the room from had to lock up earlier than usual, which left us with only around 5-10 minutes to film a large part of our film which then lead to a rushed production with a few rookie mistakes. I'm happy with what we achieved with what we were given and we couldn't have done anything more to improve the filming of our production.

Blog Task 1
In our first preliminary task we were given the basic outline of a plot which was to involve a chase. From there our team allocated roles and formed a more in depth plot and from there created a shot list. For all this we were only given an hour for the pre-production stage, an hour to film the project and an hour to edit.
Alex- Actor & editor
Glyn- Actor & editor
Me- Director
Toby- Cameraman
With only an hour to film we had to rush a large amount of the pre-production, which therefore lead to a poor-quality production. We worked quickly and although there were a few problems, we got a large majority of the footage that we aimed for. It was vital that all the team members knew where to be and when as to maximise our time effectively.
After the production me and Toby split to create a presentation for our work, where as Alex and Glyn split to edit our footage and bring our film together. After uploading to YouTube it became apparent that there were black flashes present between each cut. These flashes were an unavoidable mistake but did take away from the quality of our production.

Evaluation
Harry and Aaron’s Evaluation
Intro
Harry: Hi I’m Harry and I was the editor and cameraman for The Treatment.
Aaron: I I’m Aaron and I were the director and producer for The Treatment.
Harry: The Treatment started with us throwing ideas around for the film.
Aaron: We eventually decided on a kind of psychological film where a patient goes into a doctor or psychologist and murders the doctor.
Harry: We had originally meant to call the film Doctor/patient confidentiality but we thought that the name was slightly long for a short film. We decided on The Treatment while we were editing.
Aaron: We had a big problem as on the day of the shoot our actor pulled out as he had other commitments. We therefore had to quickly get another actor from our class.
Harry: Another problem on the day was the amount of time we had to record the film. We had around 10 minutes to film in one of our locations and so we had to rearrange our film schedule to fit it in. We also had to cut out some dialogue.
Chase
1. I was predicted a level 3a/4 but got a 3c which was slightly disappointing.
2. My two levels for improvement was my editing skills and my general management.
3. Well I took over the responsibilities for the editing. We had quite a lot to edit and I think it went quite well.
4. I think I have improved my media skills because I’ve learnt how to edit properly and learnt the skills of the camera and also did quite well with the management and working as a team, especially communication.
